About Move with Light

As you browse our site and all the cordless lamps we have available from our large variety of brands, you might be wondering and ask yourself, "Who are these folk, and why do they do this?" Well, lucky for you, that's what this page is for.

To kick this all off, our founding team has been working in the lighting industry for years, and was entranced by the development of cordless lamps and the potential it brings to the lighting community and our society as a whole. While humans are typically constrained by light, lighting solved that issue. Over time, however, our needs have changed, and what was once the gold standard no longer works for everyone. Enter cordless lighting.

Cordless Lighting is simple enough in concept; you charge the light up like you would any other electronic device, then you can take it off charge and use its power to illuminate rooms. And that's the beauty of it. A simple concept has allowed us to have the freedom to move with light and use it where and when we need it.

Whether you are going to the beach to enjoy the sunset and need something to light up your blanket, or are having family over for dinner and need a light on your patio dining table, cordless lamps provide a practical and elegant solution. The situations in which cordless lighting can be utilized are almost infinite, and that's what drew us towards starting Move with Light.

Some other fun and useful ideas for cordless lamps are: lighting during power outages, camping, a reading light, fort illumination, a backyard spectacle that lights up a pathway, and many, many more.
